The lifeblood of SOP is rooted in volunteerism and community support. SOP recognizes the hard work of our regional partners. These volunteers are who we consider heroes.

Barbara Saddler

is a plant pathologist from the University of Florida Everglades Research and Education Center who works directly in the farm by sharing agricultural techniques with volunteers and youth participants.

Norman Harrison

is a computer programmer at the University of Florida Everglades Research and Education Center who has been instrumental in developing the terrain for the Soil of Prosperity.
