Andre B. Araujo, Ph.D.
Andre B. Araujo, Ph.D. is a chronic disease epidemiologist and the Director of Epidemiology at New England Research Institutes, Inc (NERI). He earned a master’s degree in sociology from Boston University in 1999 and a doctorate in epidemiology from the Yale University School of Public Health in 2005. While at Yale, Dr. Araujo was recipient of a pre-doctoral National Institutes of Health National Research Service Award in the epidemiology of aging. Dr. Araujo is regarded as an expert in men’s health, particularly in the areas of musculoskeletal epidemiology and the endocrinology of male aging. With over 10 years of experience in the design, conduct and analysis of epidemiologic studies, Dr. Araujo has a leadership role on three of NERI’s largest epidemiologic studies which address important health concerns of aging men. He is Co-Investigator on the landmark Massachusetts Male Aging Study and the Registry of Hypogonadism in Men as well as Principal Investigator of the Boston Area Community Health/Bone Survey. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism and The Aging Male.
Dr. Ian Banks
Dr. Ian Banks is spokesman on men’s health issues for the British Medical Association, president of the European Men’s Health Forum and the England & Wales Men’s Health Forum, deputy editor of the Men’s Health Journal and for six years the medical editor for The Men’s Health Magazine. From 1969 to 1972, Dr. Banks studied Cell Biology at Aberystwyth UCW and in 1973 he began to study at the Queens University Belfast and graduated as a doctor in 1987. Dr. Banks wrote the BBC book The Trouble with Men in 1996 to accompany the television series of the same name. It was followed by Men’s Health, The Good Patient Guide, The Children’s Health Guide, Get Fit with Brittas, Men’s Health in General Practice, Ask About Sex and the 50th NHS Anniversary book from the NHSE/HEA The Home Medicine Guide. He is also the author of the NHS Direct Healthcare Guide and Web site. Ian was appointed visiting professor of men’s health in Europe by Leeds Metropolitan University in 2005 and awarded the Royal Society of Health Gold Medal for public health in 2007. The city of Vienna and the International Society of Men’s Health honored Ian with their award for public health in September 2007. (VIDEO)
Dr. Kevin L. BillupsDr. Kevin L. Billupsis a urologist specializing in Men’s Health and Sexual Medicine, particularly the evaluation and treatment of erectile dysfunction, hypogonadism and premature ejaculation. He received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md., and his undergraduate education from Harvard University. Dr. Billups completed a residency in urology at Johns Hopkins Hospital Brady Urologic Institute. He went on to receive fellowship training in sexual medicine, male infertility, and vascular biology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, where he was honored as an American Foundation for Urologic Disease and Robert Woods Johnson Foundation scholar. An authority in the field of male sexual health, Dr. Billups has been a speaker for both national and international organizations. He has also authored numerous academic papers on topics concerning men’s and women’s sexual health. He has a special clinical interest in studying erectile dysfunction as a predictor and early warning sign of chronic medical conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease and hypertension. He is actively involved in creating a community-based virtual integrated preventive health program for men using sexual medicine as a focal point to trigger sustained behavioral change.
Dr. Jean J.E. BonhommeDr. Jean J. E. Bonhomme is a staff physician at Toxicology Associates of North Georgia, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Bonhomme obtained his medical degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and his M.P.H. degree at the Grace Crum Rollins School of Public Health Of Emory University, Field of Concentration in Epidemiology. He is on the Board of Directors of the Men’s Health Network, and is chairman of the Community Health and Men’s Promotion Summit. He is cofounder and president of the National Black Men’s Health Network, a community- based non-profit organization providing preventive health education in minority communities. Dr. Bonhomme is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Men’s Health and Gender and the American Journal of Men’s Health. He received a Humanitarian Award for People helping People at the Institute of the Christian World.
Dr. David CantyDr. David Cantyhas a doctoral degree in nutrition and is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Nutrition, Food Studies and Public Health at New York University. He also serves as the medical director for the New York office of the Chandler Chicco Companies (CCC), part of InVentiv Health. Dr. Canty earned his Doctorate of Philosophy and Masters of Science in nutrition from NYU, and his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin. He has worked on drug pre-approval communications, product approvals and launches, awareness-sustaining efforts, issues and positions, public health campaigns, and med-ed publications and presentations. He specializes in "translating” complex medical and scientific information for communicating with the media, health care professionals and consumers. Dr. Canty has authored more than 40 articles and book chapters in professional medical, nutrition and health care publications. In the area of men’s health, he co-authored with Drs. Martin Miner and Ridwan Shabsigh,Testosterone Replacement Therapy in Hypogonadal Men: Assessing Benefits, Risks and Best Practices, in Postgraduate Medicine (2008).
Dr. James A. EasthamDr. James A. Easthamis Professor and Chief of Urology Service, Department of Surgery, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Eastham received his medical degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. He completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in urology at Los Angeles County – University of Southern California Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in urologic oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Before his appointment at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Dr. Eastham was an assistant and associate professor in the Department of Urology at Louisiana State University in Shreveport and Chief of Urology at Overton-Brooks Veterans Administration Medical Center in Louisiana. Dr. Eastham’s research has focused on the prevention and treatment of prostate cancer, with a particular interest in improving oncologic and quality-of-life outcomes after radical prostatectomy. He has authored or co-authored over 200 articles which have appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of the American Medical Association, Journal of Urology, the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Urology, and Transplantation.
Dr. Harry FischDr. Harry Fischis a Clinical Professor of Urology and Reproductive Medicine at Weill Medical College of Cornell University/New York Presbyterian Hospital and director of the Male Reproductive Center. He earned a BA in chemistry from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1979, and a medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, N.Y., in 1983. He is one of the nation’s leaders in the diagnosis and treatment of men’s health issues as well as sexuality and fertility problems in couples. He has pioneered microsurgical techniques for disorders associated with male infertility such as vasectomy reversal and varicocele repair. He has been named to the "Best Doctors in America” and "New York Magazine Top Doctor” the past nine years. He regularly appears on the Dr. Oz show as a medical expert on men’s health. Dr. Fisch’s research on sperm counts and endocrine disrupters has resulted in multiple research articles and international attention. His work has been frequently cited in a variety of publications, including, and The Washington Post. He has appeared on television’s 60 Minutes, 20/20, CNN and Today, among others. Dr. Joel J. HeidelbaughDr. Joel J. Heidelbaughis a Clinical Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Urology at the University of Michigan Medical School. He currently serves as the Third Year Medical Student Clerkship Director in the Department of Family Medicine. He received his medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Health Science Center at Syracuse in 1996 and served his residency in Family Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center at Syracuse. Dr. Heidelbaugh’s practice encompasses all aspects of family medicine. His clinical interests include providing preventative examinations for men of all ages, managing gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and dyspepsia, and minor surgical office procedures. Dr Heidelbaugh was the first physician in a U.S. academic medical center to create a men’s health and primary care urology clinic resulting in a joint appointment with family medicine and urology. He is the creator, editor and co-author ofClinical Men’s Health: Evidence in Practice(Elsevier, 2008), and is the section editor of Academic Men’s Health for the International Journal of Men’s Health. Dr. Tan Hui-MengDr. Tan Hui-Meng is a consultant urologist at the Subank Jaya Medical Center in Malaysia. He is Secretary General of the Asia Pacific Society for Study of the Aging Male and Vice President of the Asian Society of Endourology. He graduated with an MBBS from the University of Malaya in 1980 and completed his fellowship in surgery in 1985 and in endourology in 1987 in the United States and in Germany. Professor Tan is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) and the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians (Glasgow). He was also a scientific committee member of the WHO-sponsored First and Second Consultations on Sexual and Erectile Dysfunction. He is on the editorial boards of several journals, including the International Journal of Impotence Research, the Journal of Sexual Dysfunction, the Journal of Sexual and Reproductive Medicine and the Asian Journal of Andrology. Professor Tan is the inaugural editor-in-chief of Men’s Health, an international peer-reviewed journal focusing on the medical perspective of men’s health and the aging male. His main areas of research include the field of urolithiasis, percutaneous surgery and men’s health, which extends into prostatic diseases, erectile dysfunction and hormonal changes in the aging male. Dr. Mark S. LitwinDr. Mark S. Litwinis Professor of Urology and Health Services, Schools of Medicine and Public Health, University of California, Los Angeles. He teaches courses in health care delivery systems, medical outcomes research, quality of life assessment, and clinical urology. Dr. Litwin received his medical degree from Emory University, his MPH from UCLA and trained in urological surgery at Harvard Medical School’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He spent two years as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at UCLA and RAND. His research interests include medical outcomes assessment, quality of care, health-related quality of life, resource use, and preferences, all in patients with malignant and benign urological diseases. Dr. Litwin published the first validated quality-of-life instrument to track outcomes in men with prostate cancer. His current projects include a $78 million, state-funded program that provides clinical care and studies quality, costs and access for low-income, uninsured Californians with prostate cancer, and a $17 million NIH-funded project exploring the epidemiological burden of urological diseases in both human and financial terms. Dr. Siegfried MerynDr. Siegfried Merynis a Professor of Internal Medicine and Chairman of the Department for Medical Education at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria. He entered medical school at the University of Vienna in 1972 and graduated with a medical degree cum laude. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Vienna and took subspecialty fellowships outside of Austria, in Birmingham, GB (internal diseases) and Kings College, London, GB, (diseases of the liver). In 1987, he was appointed Associate Professor of Medicine at the Medical School of the University of Vienna. In 1988, Dr. Meryn was appointed Medical Director and Chairman of the prestigious Neue Wiener Privatklinik in Vienna. Dr. Meryn is the author of 12 books and his research has been featured in over 150 publications, many peer reviewed, in national and international journals. He is General Secretary and past President of the International Society of Men´s Health, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Men´s Health, Vice President of the European Men´s Health Forum, past executive Member of the European Society for Sexual Medicine, Past President of the Austrian Society for Sexual Medicine and President of the World Academy for Medical Education. Dr. Martin MinerDr. Martin Minerpractices both as the co-director of the Men’s Health Center at the Miriam Hospital in Providence, R.I., and at Swansea Family Practice in Swansea, Mass. He is also a clinical associate professor in family medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, and has been charged with the development of a multidisciplinary Men’s Health Center within the Lifespan/Brown University healthcare system. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Oberlin College with his bachelor’s degree in biology and earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Brown University. Dr. Miner holds memberships in the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Massachusetts Academy of Family Physicians, American Urologic Association, and was recently elected a fellow of the Sexual Medical Society of North America. He has published extensively in the areas of erectile dysfunction and cardiovascular disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia and lower urinary tract symptoms, and male sexuality and hormonal replacement therapy in men. Dr. Ajay NehraDr. Ajay Nehrais Professor of Urology at the Mayo Medical School and a consultant in the Department of Urology of the Mayo Clinic, both in Rochester, Minn. He received his medical degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, and served his residency at the Boston University School of Medicine, and a residency and chief residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Dr. Nehra has been the principal investigator with seven clinical multicenter investigational studies of the efficacy and safety of a number of treatments for erectile dysfunction. He is a co-investigator in the National Institutes of Health program project on aging. Dr. Nehra has contributed more than 80 articles and 120 abstracts, mainly on ED-related subjects, to The Journal of Urology, Current Urology Reports, Journal of Andrology, International Journal of Impotence Research, and many other journals. He has also written ED-related chapters of books and he has co-authored a book of commentary on sexual dysfunction in medicine. (VIDEO)
Dr. Ruben M. PinkhasovDr. Ruben M. Pinkhasovis involved in the research projects Molecular Pathogenesis of Prostate Cancer Dissemination, Prospective Database for Prostate Cancer, Profiling Men with Hypogonadism and Causes of Racial Disparity in Prostate Cancer. He received an undergraduate degree in biology from Hunter College of the City University of New York in 2005, and his medical degree in 2009 from the School of Medicine, SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, N.Y. He is working on his Master in Public Health. He was a Senior Volunteer at Brooklyn Free Clinic, were he taught first-year medical students on patient history taking, physical exam, discussing findings with the attending physicians, formulating diagnostic workup and treatment plan for patients. Dr. Pinkhasov has written many peer-reviewed journal articles and abstracts. He is a member of American Urological Association, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Matt T. RosenbergDr. Matt T. Rosenbergpractices in Jackson, Mich., and serves as Medical Director of Mid-Michigan Health Centers and is currently on the staff of Department of Family Medicine of the Foote Health System in Jackson. He earned his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine. He trained in general surgery at the University of California, Irvine, and in urologic surgery at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston before changing fields to general practice. Dr. Rosenberg has a special interest in the medical management of urologic diseases and has authored and coauthored articles appearing in Urology, the Journal of Urology, BJU International, and other peer-reviewed journals. He has presented his original research at many national meetings, including those of the National Institutes of Health, the American Urological Association, the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, the European Society for Sexual Medicine and the Asian Society of Urology. He is a reviewer for several national and international journals and was recently selected to be the section editor of Urology for the International Journal of Clinical Practice.
Dr. Richard SadovskyDr. Richard Sadovsky teaches at the SUNY-Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine in New York. He has served as an active member of the Medical Board of University Hospital of Brooklyn and the Ambulatory Care Committee for the hospital. He teaches in Nutrition for MS3 students and practice management to Family Practice residents. He received his undergraduate education at Cornell University, graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. degree in 1970. He was awarded his medical degree by SUNY-Downstate Medical Center College at Brooklyn in 1974. Dr. Sadovsky remained at SUNY Downstate for his residency in Family Practice until 1977. Upon completing residency, Dr. Sadovsky accepted a faculty appointment in the Department of Family Practice, and served as director of the residency program from 1977 to 1988. He received a Master of Science degree in Health Management from New York University in 1987. He is widely published in the area of men’s health with numerous articles dealing with erectile dysfunction and the importance of physicians recognizing this problem.
Dr. Ridwan ShabeighDr. Ridwan Shabsighis director of the Urology Division at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and professor of clinical urology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University in New York. Dr. Shabsigh received his medical degree from Damascus University Medical School in Syria, and completed his residency and fellowship training in Baylor College of Medicine’s Department of Urology in Houston, Texas. He is a member of numerous professional societies including the American Urological Association, the American College of Surgeons, the Society of University Urologists, and is a founding member of the Society for the Study of Impotence and current president of the International Society of Men’s Health. Dr. Shabsigh is the recipient of research grants to conduct studies in erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, female sexual dysfunction and Peyronie’s disease and has acted as a principal investigator for numerous clinical trials. His articles have appeared in the New England Journal of Medicine, the Journal of Urology, British Journal of Urology and Contemporary Urology. He is the author of a recently published patient education book on ED: Back to Great Sex, Overcome ED and Reclaim Lost Intimacy. (VIDEO)
Dr. Peter N. SchlegelDr. Peter N. Schlegelis a Professor and Chairman in the Department of Urology at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University, and Urologist-in-Chief at the New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Schlegel graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and served his residency at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD. He is an expert in the treatment of male infertility, especially the interface of male factor treatment with assisted reproductive techniques. He is one of the first, along with Patrick Walsh, to describe the neuroanatomy of the pelvis, the basis for nerve-sparing surgical treatments for prostate and bladder cancer. Dr. Schlegel serves or has served in a leadership role of several national infertility organizations, including as a Council member for the American Society of Andrology, on the Board of Directors, Secretary, and Vice President of the Society for Male Reproduction and Urology of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, as well as serving as Secretary, Vice President and President of the Society for Study of Male Reproduction of the AUA. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Professor Luis Otavio TorresProfessor Luiz Otavio Torres is an international speaker fluent in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish. He has participated in conferences and lectures in more than 20 countries. Professor Torres studied medicine at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and in 1983 trained in general surgery in Lausanne, Switzerland, at the Centre Hopitalier Universitaire Vaudois. After completing his residence in urology he undertook his post-graduation work in Paris at the Centre Medico-chirurgical de la Porte de Choisy, in Barcelona at the Fundacio Puigvert, and in Cleveland at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. In 1995 he became Master in Urology by the Escola Paulista de Medicina – Universidade Federal de São Paulo. In 2001, he was named chairman of the VI Latin American Congress of Impotence in Rio de Janeiro. He is the author of the book Patologia e Terapia Sexual (Pathology and Sexual Therapy), and the author of many book chapters and journal papers. He was head of the Department of Andrology of the Brazilian Society of Urology from 2001-2002, President of the Latin American Society of Sexual Medicine from 2003-2005, and President of the Brazilian Society of Urology – section Minas Gerais from 2006-2007.
Dr. Henrie M. TreadwellDr. Henrie M. Treadwell is Director and Senior Social Scientist for the policy initiative Community Voices: Health Care for the Underserved, and is a full-time Research Professor in the Department of Community Health and Preventative Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Ga. Dr. Treadwell received her B.A. in biology from the University of South Carolina, where she enrolled as the first African-American student as a result of a desegregation lawsuit. She received an M.A. in biology at Boston University, and a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology at Atlanta University. She did her post-doctoral work at the Harvard University School of Public Health. Her work includes the formulation of health and social policy options, oversight of programs designed to address health disparities and the social determinants of health, and special programs to facilitate reentry into the community of those engaged with the criminal justice system. Dr. Treadwell is the author of numerous peer-reviewed articles and co-editor of the book Health Issues in the Black Community. She has been featured on many major media outlets, such as CNN’s Lou Dobbs Tonight and the Campbell Brown show. (VIDEO)
Dr. Charles A. WellsDr. Charles A. Wellsis a Senior Advisor to the Director in the Office of Research on Women’s Health (ORWH) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where he oversees the Research Enhancement Awards Program. Dr. Wells received his Ph.D. in Reproductive Endocrinology and Physiology from Howard University. Research for his Ph.D. was conducted at the NIH, where he also completed post doctoral training in molecular biology as a staff fellow. He served his post doctoral training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health. Dr. Wells also serves on the ORWH Coordinating Committee on Research on Women’s Health, where he assists the director with raising the perception of the scientific community about the importance of sex and gender factors in biomedical research, health care and public policy. Before joining ORWH, he was the Director of Public Health and Environmental Justice, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, NIH. He also served as a senior advisor for Diabetes Prevention Research in the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, NIH, and as a Senior Health Scientist Administrator in the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, NIH. Professor Alan WhiteProfessor Alan White, a Registered Nurse, is Professor of Men’s Health at the Centre for Men’s Health at Leeds Metropolitan University and Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Men’s Health Forum (England & Wales). He graduated with a degree in nursing from the University of Surrey in 1982 and worked in a number of acute ward settings in Surrey and London before moving into intensive care and then into education. Dr. White obtained his doctorate in 2000 from the University of Manchester. His research includes the Scoping Study on Men’s Health for the Department of Health; the Report on the State of Men’s Health across 17 European Countries; and the report Excess Burden of Cancer in Men in the UK. Currently he is heading up an international team of academics for "The First European State of Men’s Health Report” for the European Commission. His research also includes work on men’s experiences of illness including coronary heart disease, diabetes and prostate cancer, the evaluation of the national pilots for Self Care as part of the NHS WiPP and a study on the Bradford Health of Men initiative. Recently, he has been working with Headingley stadium in Leeds to establish health checks for the supporters of Leeds Rhino’s. Leeds Carnegie and Yorkshire Cricket and is undertaking an evaluation study of Premiere League Health for young men, which is being run through Football Premier League in England. (VIDEO)
Scott T. WilliamsScott T. Williams is Vice President of Men’s Health Network, a Washington, D.C.-based national non-profit organization whose mission is to reach men and their families where they live, work, play, and pray with health prevention messages and tools, screening programs, educational materials, advocacy opportunities, and patient navigation. Williams received his BA in Political Science with honors and a minor in Business Management from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pa. Before joining Men’s Health Network, Williams was a Senior Analyst of Strategic Services at PharmaStrat Inc., based in Flemington, N.J., and worked as a public relations manager in Pennsylvania. He is actively sought out as a speaker and resource on men’s health issues by the media, policymakers, public health professionals, physician key thought leaders, and other patient advocacy leaders. He has been featured as an expert in the New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, Medicare Reimbursement Weekly, Chicago Tribune and National Public Radio, among others. He has presented at the Food and Drug Administration, Massachusetts Medical Society, World Congress on Men’s Health in Vienna, Austria, State Medicaid Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committees, and the United States Senate.
Dr. Aksam A. YassinDr. Aksam A. Yassinruns his private clinic for urology and andrology and is chairman for urology at the Segeberger Kliniken hospital in Norderstedt-Hamburg, Germany. He received his medical degree at Damascus University, Syria, in 1980. He completed his major surgical training in urology at Hanover University, Germany, in 1986. He received a Ph.D. in medical sciences at Hamburg University, where he remains affiliated, especially in T1/T2 prostate cancer research. As a visiting professor, he lectured in urology and sexual medicine at the Dubai Medical College for Girls in the United Arab Emirates. In 1993, Professor Yassin moved to the University of Sarasota (Fla.), now Argosy University, where he earned a doctoral degree in education in 1996. At Argosy, he serves as adjunct professor for Human Sexuality in the clinical psychology program as a visiting professor at the College of Behavioral Sciences. Since 2000, Professor Yassin is a faculty member and full Professor of Urology at the Gulf Medical College, School of Medicine, Ajman / UAE while simultaneously serving as Vice President for Institutional Advancement. He has published original articles and co-authored others and has two book projects, Fournier´s Gangrene and Erectile Dysfunction at the Cellular Level. (VIDEO)
Dr. April M.W. YoungDr. April M. W. Young is Vice President for Justice Initiatives at the Collins Center for Public Policy, an action-oriented think tank in Florida, USA. She has a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from Harvard University, and an A.B. from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Dr. Young has worked extensively on questions of community change in urban areas. She designed the Overtown Men’s Health Study, gathering extensive data on residents of a distressed neighborhood in Miami, Florida. In addition to research on the social determinants of poor men’s health, Young works on related issues of juvenile justice, adult incarceration, and community re-entry. Before joining the Overtown project in 2003, she ran the Community-University Roundtables Project at Stanford University. The Roundtables Project initiated applied research and provided technical assistance in distressed California communities on topics ranging from police racial profiling to senior women’s health to equitable technology access. Dr. Young has administered federal and state rental housing subsidy programs in Boston, Massachusetts. She provided policy analysis and technical assistance on federal housing grant programs to communities across the U.S. while with the social science research company Abt Associates in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She continues to conduct research and provide housing-related technical assistance to low-income communities. (VIDEO)
Dr. Michael ZitzmannDr. Michael Zitzmannis a Professor of Endocrinology and Andrology at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität, Münster in Germany, and was previously Clinical Director of its Institute of Reproductive Medicine. Professor Zitzmann obtained his Ph.D. in 1993 from the Institute of Medical Psychology, graduating magna cum laude. He is a specialist in endocrinology, diabetology and andrology. He is a member of several national and international societies for andrology and endocrinology and is the author of numerous original research papers, reviews and book chapters in these fields. Professor Zitzmann sits on the editorial review board of 22 journals, including the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism and the Journal of Sexual Medicine.
